I woke up this morning, slept in and rolled out of bed and did some errands around the house, and realized that this is the first day in months, or perhaps in the past couple of years where I have felt a true sense of comfort, happiness and living 100% in the moment.
What that means, I am still not 100% sure, but the thing is that I have been working so hard the past few months that maybe it is totally deserved and I am now allowed to reap the fruits of the rewards which I have cultivated from putting in the hours. Although I think it is definitely important to continue the actions which I was doing before, they somehow feel easier and effortless, eg waking up early and going to work, sometimes working 15 hour days, auditioning last minute and leaving work early... all these little things that used to freak me out and made me feel nervous and like I was going to lose everything if I screwed them up, suddenly feel like they are ok, and that everything will be ok no matter what happens.
It's a new level, a new plateau, and I think the thing is not too get too complacent, whilst also striving and continuously working towards your goals... actions and receptivity all in one. Yin and yang - finding the true balance.
So how are you creating balance in your life? Are you working too hard and reaching burn out, or relaxing too much and not doing the actions you know you should take. I think the happy medium is in the middle - so let me know how you go in finding that for yourself! :)
